HR Manager
What role will you play?
As an integral part of a collaborative and energetic team, you will serve as a key point of contact for all HR-related needs across the organisation. Your role will require a flexible, energetic, and can-do attitude, as well as the ability to manage your workflow autonomously. You will oversee the smooth operation of various HR processes and systems, playing a direct role in shaping the employee experience throughout the entire employment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full talent acquisition cycle, including job postings, offer negotiations, and onboarding. Work closely with external partners (if used) to ensure an efficient and effective hiring process.
- Provide advice and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Oversee key HR processes such as onboarding, performance management, engagement, development, talent and succession planning, reward and recognition, and offboarding.
- Administer employee remuneration and benefits programs, including payroll, and manage both cyclical and ad-hoc administration and communication tasks.
- Maintain and update the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Provide HR reports and analytics to support decision-making and provide insights for business strategy.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Support the development and delivery of learning and development programs.
- Contribute to HR projects such as policy development, process improvement, and employee engagement initiatives. Support the execution of strategic HR programs and frameworks.
- Act as a champion for the organisational culture, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment where employees are empowered to perform at their best.
What you offer:
- Proven experience in a similar HR role within a dynamic organisational setting.
- Experience in the renewable energy sector or with scaling companies is highly regarded.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or a related field.
- A strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Excellent business acumen and an understanding of how HR can drive organisational success.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to broader HR projects.
- Experience with HRIS systems and recruitment tools.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence a range of stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks while staying detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, proactive attitude, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team.
