Our client sits at the centre of Australia’s performing arts community. It brings together an extraordinary mix of creative, technical and operational talent to deliver large scale productions enjoyed by audiences across the country. Behind the scenes is a complex organisation spanning rehearsal studios, workshops, offices, performance venues and touring productions.
It is a place where creativity meets precision and where hundreds of people come together to deliver something special.

The Opportunity.
We are partnering to recruit an experienced Head of Work Health & Safety to lead the organisation’s safety strategy and practice.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping WHS across a diverse and dynamic environment. The scope spans production teams, technical crews, corporate functions, workshops and multiple venues. The work is varied, fast moving and highly collaborative.

You will partner closely with executives, operational leaders and creative teams to ensure safety is embedded in day to day decision making. This role is about influence as much as expertise.

You.
The successful candidate will bring a pragmatic, solutions focused approach that supports high performing teams while maintaining strong governance and compliance.
The organisation is looking for a WHS leader who is comfortable operating in complex environments where large groups of people, specialised equipment and tight timelines intersect. Experience in live environments, production, construction, events, entertainment or similarly operational settings will translate well.

Just as important is your ability to engage people. This is a values led organisation full of passionate professionals who care deeply about the work they do. The Head of WHS will play an important role in strengthening a culture where safety is understood, respected and owned by everyone.

This is a rare opportunity to apply your WHS leadership in an organisation that sits at the intersection of creativity, collaboration and operational excellence.
