In our opinion, the good HRBP roles aren’t always the ones with the polished employer brand and the immaculate process. They’re the ones where leaders actually want you in the room, where your fingerprints end up across the business and where the work has weight to it.

This is one of those.

The Opportunity.
We’ve partnered with this complex, well-known business for a few years now, and they’re looking for an HRBP to come in and partner the leadership team across a sizeable part of the business.

It’s a true partnering seat. You’ll be the strategic sounding board for an experienced state manager and coach a layer of managers (some experienced, some newer) on what good leadership looks like. Engagement, capability and using data to spot what’s coming before it lands – all sits with you.

Case management has been centralised, so this is genuine partnering work – your time goes where it should.

There’s a new HRIS being rolled out, plenty of room to influence and the kind of leaders who value a partner who knows their craft. On top of that, you’ll have the backing and support of an incredible People leader.

You.

  • An experienced Business Partner who’s partnered senior leaders in mixed blue and white collar environments
  • Pragmatic; you back your judgement, move at pace, and don’t need everything mapped out before you start
  • Empathetic in style with the conviction to challenge thinking
  • Analytical when it comes to People data, you read the numbers and build a story from them
  • A natural coaching style, particularly with newer leaders
  • HR Tertiary qualified
