A 12-month contract for an HR Consultant who wants project work, a global business and scope to do more than just the brief.
The Opportunity.
You’ll sit within the Global HR team and partner closely with the Sydney-based HR Manager. The business has around 190 staff in Australia and is growing, both organically and through acquisitions.
The work splits into three: the technical ER piece (award classification, total remuneration reviews), the legislative response piece (policy review and gap analysis across positive duty, right to disconnect, contractor classification, psychosocial hazards, plus the line manager training that goes with it), and the business partnering piece (consultation support for an office relocation, ER advice on live M&A, and establishing HR guidelines for the new business).
Beyond this, the HR Manager is looking for someone who can step into the broader people agenda. For the right person, that’s the draw.
You.
- A consultant’s mindset; you’re brought in to solve
- 5+ years in a Senior HR Advisor or HR Generalist role
- Strong working knowledge of Fair Work, modern awards and recent legislative reform
- Confidence to advise senior stakeholders and uplift the capability of those around you
- Comfort working across the technical detail and the strategic conversation
