This is a newly created role inside a large, people-first business that is reshaping how its People function works. The business runs a national workforce across the country, so the way its back office supports those people matters. That back office is being rebuilt from the ground up and this is the person who leads it.

The Opportunity.
You take the reins of People Support and Talent and turn it into something integrated, digital and smooth. Automation and AI sit at the heart of it, from a single enterprise-wide case system to self-service portals that make life easier for every employee and leader who touches the function.

Because the role is new, you get to shape it. The structure is yours to design, the team of around fifteen is yours to build and the roadmap is yours to set. Transformation is one of three priorities for the People and Culture team over the next year, so you walk in with the mandate, the backing and the appetite from leadership to make it happen.

This is a build inside a business that is getting more commercial and higher performing while holding on to what makes it a good place to work.

You.
You’re a senior People or HR operations leader who has matured a service delivery or shared services model and knows what good looks like. You have led enterprise change before and you bring a pragmatic, outcomes-focused way of getting there.

You are curious about technology and comfortable putting AI and automation to work. You lead people well, you set a clear direction and you are as happy in the detail as you are shaping the strategy.
