Watching this business grow over the last decade has been something else. A serious Australian manufacturer, scaling fast, multi-site, multi-brand and now investing in the People function that will carry it into the next chapter. They’ve asked me to partner on the build – and I couldn’t be prouder to bring these roles to market.

This is one of two senior roles being created within a new L&D and OD pillar, and it’s a genuine ground-up build. You’ll design the OD and workforce planning capability across a business of over 3000 people. No existing playbook. You bring the structure, the rigour and the strategic lens.

The Opportunity.

  • Workforce planning across a complex, multi-site operational footprint
  • Organisational design for a business growing through both organic expansion and acquisition
  • Capability frameworks, succession planning and talent mapping
  • The OD response to integration work as new businesses come into the group
  • Building the function from the ground up, including how it interfaces with HRBPs, TA, L&D and Reward

You.

  • A track record building OD and workforce planning capability in a diversified business, ideally one where the function was new or underdeveloped
  • Comfort with operational complexity, multi-site and multi-brand environments
  • The credibility to influence senior leaders who haven’t yet had OD at the table
  • A pragmatic, hands-on style; this is a builder’s role, not a strategist’s chair
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial or similarly complex environments is a strong advantage

The Details.
For the Central Coast and Newcastle HR network, this one is worth a serious look. Based at their Central Coast head office – it’s senior, build-from-scratch work, close to home.
