A senior payroll leadership role with a listed Australian business; a well-known national brand.
The Opportunity.
You’ll lead payroll across Australia and offshore, sitting inside their Shared Services team. You’ll have a strong team behind you across Team Leaders, Senior Payroll Officers, Payroll Officers and Compliance, plus an additional layer that flexes in peak times.
Multiple EBAs and awards covering a unionised frontline. A workforce with volume movement through the year. Offshore payroll alongside the Australian remit.
What’s interesting about the role is the ambition behind it. The business is actively investing in lifting how payroll runs day to day, with a continuous improvement and systems agenda already underway. They want a leader who brings a wider market perspective, sharpens how the team operates, and partners hand in glove across HR, IT and Finance to bring it together.
What you’ll be working across:
- Multiple EBAs and awards covering a unionised workforce
- A workforce with volume movement and the seasonal team that comes with it
- Some offshore payroll alongside the Australian remit
- A continuous improvement and systems agenda inside Shared Services
You.
Someone who knows payroll inside out and has the leadership to back it. Confident across legislation, sharp across systems and comfortable in a decentralised environment.
