Senior HR Business Partner
This is a broad Senior P&C Business Partner role with the opportunity to get close to the business, work with senior leaders and have an influence on how teams perform, grow and evolve.
We’re partnering with a highly successful Australian fintech business operating across Australia and New Zealand. It’s a fast-moving, commercial environment with an impressive track record of growth and a strong reputation for its culture and employee experience.
The Opportunity.
This is perfect for a Senior P&C Business Partner who loves the business part of business partnering. Someone who quickly understands what’s happening within a portfolio, build credibility with leaders and turn business priorities into practical people outcomes.
You’ll work across the full spectrum of partnering – organisational design, workforce planning, talent, succession, engagement, performance, change and leadership capability – while helping leaders think ahead about how AI, automation and new ways of working will reshape their teams.
- Partner closely with leaders to understand their business priorities, challenges and opportunities
- Translate those priorities into practical people and workforce plans
- Coach and challenge leaders to lift capability, accountability and performance
- Use engagement, workforce and performance data to identify issues and influence decisions
- Build stronger succession and talent pipelines across your portfolio
- Lead complex employee relations matters with sound commercial judgement
You.
You’ll already be an experienced HR/P&C Business Partner who is comfortable operating with autonomy and working closely with senior stakeholders. You’ll be commercially minded, curious and confident to challenge thinking when required, but equally capable of rolling your sleeves up.
Most importantly, you take ownership. You stay close to your portfolio, spot opportunities before they become problems and care about helping leaders build better, higher-performing teams.
Experience across organisational design, workforce planning, performance, engagement, talent and change will be important, alongside strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation. Experience within technology, fintech or another fast-moving, high-growth environment would be particularly valuable.
Why this role?
This is an opportunity to join a business that invests in its people and leaders, where the P&C function has the credibility to influence rather than simply execute.
You’ll have variety, autonomy and the opportunity to make a visible impact on both people and business performance – within an organisation recognised externally for the quality of its workplace and culture.
If you’re looking for a Senior BP role where you can get close to the business, influence senior leaders and genuinely move the dial, we’d love to hear from you.
